just started the new year of training, suffered an unexpected guest ... Our friend Sergio De Bari, Molfetta-American origins, I contact to find out if it can stay with us for training. Happy to host a wrestler, we start immediately to work overseas.

We had fun every day, discovering new things and always fighting to a thousand, we had a good yardstick for a month, as well as a new incentive to train and give more.

Sorry for my absence dear bloggers, but for various commitments, the lack of will and laziness that often assail me, I could not update my blog, and I write very often. I will try to make up from now on.

Yesterday ended the Venice Film Festival number 67, in which I had the opportunity to participate in the evening of Wednesday, 8 at the screening of the film ET IN TERRA PAX Botrugno of Matthew and Daniel Coluccini: I worked as an electrician on the project set "orders" of the director of photography David Manca. An excellent set, beautiful people and a film of high quality. The film was received positively by the public and critics, and then you just have to be proud and happy.
For the rest, I would like to talk a bit about the awards ceremony of the festival, to say the least bad: no rhythm, no effect, no irony, no organization or good taste spectacular. Isabella Ragonese very poor, awkward, wrong and falls into many " gaffe," the awards are not the right time, just applause, the right dedication ... Fortunately, the good old Quentin, who against all odds, by "spirit" in the evening and defends the Cinema, anyway, along with two other wizards entr'actes fun as De la Iglesia and Skolimowski.

now turn to the last film visions of the undersigned. I had (unfortunately) way of seeing the film the remake of Nightmare, Wes Craven's horror classic. Well, I wasted a ticket, and a waste of money! This film directed by Samuel Bayer has nothing to share with the cult of Craven, with a few scenes blatantly copied and pasted. You can not fondare un intero film horror sui sussulti e sugli "stolzi" per far gridare lo spettatore, e farlo saltare sulla poltrona! Abbiamo bisogno di meglio, non insultate così la nostra intelligenza! Nella sera stessa, dello stesso giorno in cui ho visto Nightmare - remake - ho avuto modo di rivedermi Orphan, un buon thriller di questo anno, un horror in perfetto stile americano, semplice, ma ben fatto... Nulla di straordinario, solo un buon film di genere horror/thriller. Che insegna: non ci vuole tanto a fare meglio, no?
Tra le altre visioni, mi sono visto il film di Richard Linklater, "Prima del tramonto": premettendo di non aver visionato il primo episodio di questo dittico romantico, il film mi ha spiazzato, per semplicità produttiva, minimalismo tecnico, scenografico, tempistico, ma immensità nella recitazione, nello script. Un film fatto di persone, e di dialoghi: a volte non sempre azzeccati, a volte troppo realistici, a mio avviso si poteva osare di più nel filosofico, andare più nel "finto" e tralasciare il "troppo vero", ma per il resto il film fluisce, tra un discorso e l'altro, tra un ricordo riaffiorato e un futuro prossimo, tra un pianto trattenuto e una risata, tra un caffè al bar e una camminata lungo la senna, fino allo splendido e giusto epilogo. Gradevole.
